On 17th April,'24, the very prestigious University Women's Association of Calcutta, felicitated Paromita Bera, one of our associates. Other than us, Behala Keertika, All Bengal Women's Union and Hamari Muskan also received the same honor. There we met Ms. Noosa Nigar, and learnt her amazing story, how she has made her dream come true. Since her childhood she had only one aim, to be an Aeronautical Engineer. It is truly very inspiring to know how a student of Loreto, Dharmatolla, and from a very modest Business Family of Kolkata, made it through NASA with flying colors as an Aerospace Engineer. My Salute and Hats off to all the achievers!
NGO হিসেবে সাউথ কলকাতা সান্নিধ্য কাজ করছে ১৩ বছরের বেশি সময় ধরে। এই প্রথম একটা সংবর্ধনা র সুযোগ এসেছে, যাতে NGO র কর্মী সংবর্ধিত হবার সুযোগ পেলো। আমরা Non Funded সংস্থা। নিজেদের খুদ্র ক্ষমতার কারণে আমাদের কাছে যে মানুষেরা নানান কারণে আসেন, তাদের সহায়তা য় আমরা আমাদের কাজ করে চলি। তাই, "কর্মী" তারাই। এদের ছাড়া আমরা সত্যিই অচল। তাই আমার কাছে যখন কলকাতা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অধ্যাপিকা বর্গের থেকে nomination এর জন্যে ফোন আসে, এই বিরল সম্মানের জন্যে আমি পারমিতা বেরা র নাম করি। University Women's Association of India র কলকাতা Chapter কে আমাদের অশেষ কৃতজ্ঞতা। এই সম্মাননা র মাধ্যমে ওনারা একটি সংস্থা কেও সম্মান জ্ঞাপন করলেন।
